DEMOCRATIC CHALLENGER DAVID KIM OUTRAISES REP. WOODALL
In one month, Kim outraised Republican incumbent 2-to-1
Duluth, G.A. — David Kim, the leading Democratic congressional candidate in Georgia’s 7th district, raised more than double his Republican opponent Rep. Rob Woodall.
Kim, a first time candidate and founder of C2 Education, took the race by storm after announcing he raised $250,000 in campaign contributions in his first month after entering the race.
While Kim has managed to raise $260,000 since declaring his candidacy in June, Woodall’s $128,000 was raised over the first six months of 2017. In addition to outraising Woodall, Kim raised more than all previous Woodall challengers combined.
Georgia’s 7th Congressional District is shaping up to be the leading, competitive race in the country. Kim has proved his staying power with a strong grassroots fundraising operation and a veteran political team.
The son of hardworking Korean immigrants, Kim is an education expert and entrepreneur who lives in Duluth, GA with his wife and children. C2 Education, an endeavor he started in his college dorm room, has helped educate tens of thousands of students and created thousands of jobs. Kim will bring his enthusiasm and innovation to Washington to deliver results for the people of Georgia. He’ll work to ensure the same opportunity and American dream he experienced can be passed down to the next generation.
